Aloha,
Thank you for visiting my official Danny Couch website. I appreciate your interest and support.
I was born on Oahu. My father, Charles G. Couch, was born in Albany, Georgia, of Scottish-Irish ancestry. The U.S. Navy brought him to the islands during the Korean War. He met and married my mother, Margaret Leilani Hauoli, who was born and raised in Honolulu, and is of Hawaiian descent.
I was raised on the leeward coast of Oahu. Growing up in the islands, I was extremely fortunate to live side-by-side with children of different ethnic backgrounds and learn about their cultures. The phrase “melting pot” truly applies here.
Living in Hawaii has been such a blessing for me. I love everything about this land -- its people; its special way of life; and, most importantly, its spirit of Aloha. I am especially proud that half the blood in my veins is Hawaiian and my lineage can be traced back to the days of King Kamehameha the Great. My grandparents, who spoke fluent Hawaiian, taught me about our ancient heritage and helped instill Hawaiiana into my heart and soul.

Music has been my life for decades. My love for it came from my father, and my voice came from my mother. My passion for singing and performing grows stronger each year.
Through music, I have the privilege of reaching out and touching people's hearts. I compose music that moves me, and I hope it moves you. Thank you for visiting my website.
A Hui Hou,
Danny
